From Matrix to Sleeping Beauty
Mude - Fashion and Design Museum, Francisco Capelo collection. Lisbon

Lisbon Design and Fashion Museum (Mude) decided to display the extensive work of costume designer Antonio Lagarto also set designer and former director of the National Theatre in Lisbon.
The exhibition features works from 1978 to 2013, showing a vast collection of costumes created for various performing arts as ballet, dance, opera or theater.
Our challenge was to create a strong and appealing graphic identity, without conflicting with the extreme visual richness of the textures and colors provided by the materials used in costumes of Antonio Lagarto.
So we create a simple graphic line, complementary and informative, and let the images of the exhibition assume the role as storytellers on the skin of dancers, actors and singers.
Here is the first part of our work: the exhibition identity, the exhibition signage and a showcase publication of what will be the catalog, currently a work in progress, expected to out in March 2015.
