Editorial design for the exhibition “From Matrix to Sleeping Beauty”, that brings together images and essays on the work of the portuguese set and costume designer, Antonio Lagarto. The exhibition was organized by MUDE - Museum of Design and Fashion in Lisbon, and this book had as objective the merge of the images of Antonio Lagarto’s work and the images from the exhibition, and at the same time be a theoretical piece on the work of the set and costume designer.
As a concept we went for a sober path to visually contrast with the color, complexity and detail of the images. That sobriety is purposefully and occasionally interrupted by color pages that act as a marker and tab in the book.
